Here we go again!  The 4th reading of Ordinance 24-100 to repeal the tax credit to residents of Delaware who work outside of the city, will be presented at council on Monday February 10th. City Council will be voting if the tax credit will be repealed or not. Right now, Linsey Griffith, Kevin Rider and Catlin Frazier leaning toward voting No, to not repeal the tax credit.  Adam Haynes, Mayor Riggle and Vice-Mayor Shafer are undecided but could be encouraged to come to a No vote as well. Corey Hoffman is likely a yes vote to repeal the tax credit.  We need to call and/or write Kevin, Linsey, Catlin, Adam as well as the Mayor and Vice-Mayor and let them know we want them to vote No on Monday. I have put their contact info below.  Please ask your friends and family to do the same.  Please also come to the meeting on Monday to support a No vote.   City Council is not recognizing that the citizens of Delaware voted No to new increases in income taxes in November for the second time in 2024.  It has been pointed out several times by many people that the ballot issue in November was not a fair approach or at the very least deceptive.  We are very close to winning this fight and with all of your help we will prevent this ordinance from passing.   City Council Meeting will be held at 7:00 on Monday February 10th in Council Chambers located on the 3rd floor of City Hall, South Sandusky Street and William Street.   The County Commissioners voted to put a library levy on the ballot in November so the tax increases just keep on coming. Catlin Frazier.
