City Council to Review Multiple Development Ordinances on 2/10/25

On the Agenda for the 2/10/2025 City Council Meeting are multiple development project Ordinances:
Ordinance 25-04 Donovan Farms Changes to Sub-Area B-1 Re-Zoned to Commercial use properties. (See page 80 of Agenda Packet)
Ordinance 25-05 Maridel Development of the land south of Sawmill Parkway (newly developed section) and northwest of St Rt 42. No Industrial development is proposed but "indoor/outdoor entertainment facilities", Hotels/Motels, Schools, Religious facilities, Restaurants, Microbreweries, and Drive-In Theater are slated to be in this area. Where is the economic development? This area was zoned for Agricultural and Light Industry. (See page 120 of Agenda Packet)
Ordinance 25-06 Addison Sawmill Rezone from A-1 (Agriculture) to R-PUD (Residential) on 141.551 Acres along Sawmill Parkway. (See page 143 of Agenda Packet)
Ordinance 25-07 Kroger Grocery Store Rezone from B-3 (Community Business District) to C-PUD (Commercial Planned Unit Development) to build a new Kroger Grocery Store east of Glenn Road and south of St Rt 36. This will be directly across the street (Glenn Road) from the Meijer. (See page 161 of the Agenda Packet)
Ordinance 25-08 Rezone from B-3 (Community Business District) and M-1 (Light Manufacturing) to C-PUD (Commercial Planned Unit Development) located west of Glenn Road and south of Mill Run Crossing to build a Nursing Home, Residential Care facility, Church, Day Care Center (Child or Adult), Retail Office (medical, dental or Veterinary). (See page 183 of the Agenda Packet)
